Do you have any family members or friends in jail or prison? Do you want to talk and connect with them in ways you never thought possible, and at the same time make their lives happier while they do their time? Well, then JPay email might just be what you’re looking for, because it is without any doubt one of the best and easiest ways to write an inmate, as well as one of the quickest and most convenient ways to stay in touch with them, so you can’t go wrong there.
JPay’s inmate email service is not only the fastest, but also the most feature-rich email service available to inmates in the United States. Depending on the correctional facility, inmates can view and print your message, view 30 second VideoGrams, view photo attachments, and even write you back via email.
JPay.com is a correctional services website similar to CorrLinks. If you have friends or family in prison, or regularly write to a prisoner, then I’m sure you’ve heard about the service before. However, in my opinion, JPay is the better option out of the two, because it offers a lot more tools and features that will allow you to stay and also feel closer to your loved ones incarcerated in prison. Please don’t get me wrong, I think Corrlinks is great, anyone who tries to help people to stay in touch with their loved ones is a saint, but with JPay you can do a lot more like send money, send emails, send videos, and make video visitations, so what more could you ask for?
If you already signed up for a JPay account, then you can easily login by following these steps:
JPay Email Login – How to Sign in to your JPay.com Account in 4 Easy Steps
- Go to the login or as they like to call it the “First Time Users” page https://www.jpay.com/login.aspx.
- Enter your email address in the “Email Address” field at the top center of your screen.
- Type your password in the “Password” box.
- Click “Login”.
Keep in mind that if you don’t sign up, you won’t be able to access the site. So if you haven’t registered yet follow JPay’s instructions and go to the site’s home page, then look for the “Select State” box in the center of your screen, type the name of the state where your inmate resides, enter the inmate ID for your friend or relative in the “Enter Inmate ID #” box, click “Next”, now click on the inmate you want to communicate with if you see him or her on the search results page, read and then accept JPay’s terms and conditions, and click “Register”.
Once you have completed the registration process you will have to create an account in order to send money and communicate with your inmate friend or relative. To create a user account simply go to the site’s home page and click “My Account”, then on the My Profile page, enter the required information in all the fields and click “Save”.
Once you have created an account and logged into the site you can start communicating with your inmate. Emails are delivered within 48 hours, just don’t forget that each mail requires a “Stamp” which are usually available at more affordable rates than traditional postage. Stamps can be purchased online or at JPay kiosks in the correctional facility.
