Inbox By Gmail is Google’s latest and most advanced email service released to date, in fact, Inbox is expected to be one of the best online and mobile services of all time. According to Google, it was built on everything they’ve learned from Gmail, it is a fresh start for both users and the company as well, they’ve used all the knowledge and insights gained throughout the years to create a service that goes beyond just email to help you get back to what really matters. In other words, this new web and mobile messaging service was designed to help people save time, and also allow them to connect with the people they love and the things that matter the most to them in real time.
I still believe that Gmail is an unbeatable email service, but there’s been a lot of positive feedback from both users and experts who are constantly reviewing technology and web services developed by big companies such as Google, Yahoo, and Microsoft among many more, so I have to admit that they’ve gotten me intrigued now. That’s why if you have the chance to give Inbox a try you should definitely check it out, because from what I’ve heard, it will blow your mind away!
The only problem at the moment is that Google’s new Inbox service requires an invite. If you have a friend who has already received an invite, then you can ask that person to send you an invitation as well so that you can set up a new account in order to start using the service right away. But if you don’t know anyone who has been invited yet, then you can email Google directly at inbox@google.com to request one today.
You might be asking yourself, Why would I want to join Inbox if I’m absolutely satisfied with my old Gmail account? Well, the answer is quite simple, because Google’s new email service has a ton of fun and useful features that you won’t find anywhere else. For example, similar messages will now be bundled together so you can check them all out in just one go, you can also delete all those messages with just one tap or click if you want to, you’ll be able to see highlights that allow you to scan very quickly the most important information without even having to open a single message, you can set up reminders or snooze emails so you can check them out later or when you feel it’s the right time, also take advantage of the new and improved search functionality that will allow you to find what you’re looking for faster, and the best part is that it works with Gmail, so you will be able to find all your emails and information from your Gmail account in your Inbox account and vice versa.
After getting an invite you will be prompted to download and install the Inbox mobile app on your device, the app is currently available for Android and iOS devices only, and what’s even more important is that if you want to access your Inbox email account on the web you must download the app and set up your account through a mobile device first, otherwise it won’t work.
